Yes, this is something that is in the beginning stages. The linking will be a great SEO strategy for all sites involved. There are also other "partner" projects that we would like to see put in action, but everything has not been totally ironed out as of yet. Although we are all competitors, we feel that we need to stick together to a certain degree. Sharing ideas and developing certain programs (marketing and otherwise), could be a great benefit to the auction community as a whole. Not much info to provide you as of yet, but at least members can see that there are behind the scenes efforts being enacted.

I like the "working together" mode among competitors!
Noticed my page views have jumped quite a bit lately and it's great to see possitive progress coming along nicely!

I am fairly certain that the auction network program has yet to provide any significant traffic to the site, so the increased views on your auctions are most likely from one of our other recent updates. The SEO implications from this project will most likely take about a month to kick in with any significant results, by then it should show about 25-30 percent increases in traffic. The referrals from other sites in the network will account for approximately five percent traffic increase.
I am not going to go into any details, as I am not certain exactly what will come from this program, and who will be willing to do what. We have many ideas that we feel could be very beneficial, but we do not want to make any promises or post any ideas and then not have them come to pass.
We need to continue to make progress, and we feel this is definately a step in the right direction for all sites involved.

I like it. Increased traffic is good for all sites and sellers. I'm keeping an eye on stats from the sites involved to see how much of a boost they get. I was browsing around the network and found something to buy at another site so I signed up. I may add 1 or 2 more sites depending on what I find to buy.

I was keeping a spreadsheet on the network sites but a few of them stopped showing their stats so it is hard to compare the sites. The unofficial member count for Webidz has grown from 6777 in Oct 06 to 8373 today Feb 07. The auction count has grown from 19475 to 20099 for the same time period. One of the network sites dropped over 3000 listings during this same time.
